Another inpromptu portrait session in the can. What do you say to your muse when she begins going through her dresses and you see one that you love on her? You say, “Keep that on. I’m going to get my camera”! Such is what happened the day we shot these images.
Every outfit I saw was better than the last. I think this was one of the last dresses she showed me. I stopped her and told her that I wanted to shoot her in that dress. She agreed and I went to set up out to the backyard while she got dolled up.
Once everyone was ready to go we hopped outside to shoot. We were moving faster than I usually work as it was extremely chilly. I can’t have a cold model.
With the shoot wrapped up I let the model go and I quickly broke down my set-up. Sunset images are always fun to take, even if the temperature is less than desirable. That cooler sunset light can not be beat when you are looking to capture shots like these.
