Sometimes things just work themselves out. My portrait session today was with Cydny Neville, an incredible woman whom I met at a picnic a few weeks back. After becoming friends on Facebook, I discovered that she is the CEO of a wonderful company, Spirit Catchers Productions. You can read about the history and services of Spirit Catchers here, but what caught my eye at was that the company’s main focus is to uplift the community. They also aim to educate, young and old alike. I decided then that I would inquire if she would be interested in sitting for a personal project I have in the works.
At the same time a photography blogger whose blog I follow was starting up his photography boot camp and it just so happened that the first assignment was to shoot a person who makes an impact in the community. I knew immediately who I wanted to shoot for this assignment and I sent her a message that same day. Cydny accepted and we fleshed out the details. Here are some of my favorites from the shoot.
